A Good Thing

I love the saying on this card "too much of a good thing is a good thing". Isn't that so true!
I'm not really happy with this picture. I usually take my pictures during the day with the natural light. But I bought a new smaller camera today and wanted to try it out. I may retake the picture in the morning.

I just couldn't resist making another card with my Happy Heart Set. I still had some Blue Bayou & Soft Sky CS laying on my desk from last week's color challenge so I thought I would use it up for this card. Instead of the Real Red I decided to soften it up by using Pretty in Pink & Regal Rose.

I made this card yesterday for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #32. I also used last week's SCS color challenge Real Soft Bayou. I didn't have a chance to post it until tonight.

My daughter Megan and I went to the Mall of America to look for a dress for Snowdays (Sadie Hawkins dance in my day). We were there for 6 hours looking for that perfect dress! We should have went with our first pick but didn't because of the cost. Wow, the price of those dresses are amazing! We came home with the second choice, but it just wasn't working for any of us, so we will be going back tomorrow to get the other one!

Weekend sketch challenge

I don't know what the weather is like where you live but, brrrrrr it's cold here! The last couple of days have been the coldest of the season. Last night it reached -14, that's right 14 degrees BELOW ZERO. And right know it's -2 at 1:00 in the afternoon. You would think that with the cold weather I would be getting alot of stamping done, but not the case, the cold weather doesn't keep us locked up inside! So wherever you are I hope it's warmer than it is here!

I did find some time to stamp this sweet valentine using the sketch from Beate's weekend sketch challenge. As you can see I flipped the sketch so this cute little elephant was facing the center of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!

A little distraction

I had every intention to stamp today but I just kept getting distracted by these beautiful deer that have been hanging out in my backyard all afternoon. My oldest son Matt & I spotted five of them just hanging out in the little patch of woods that we have behind our house. Here are a couple of pictures that I was able to snap. Lily even got into watching and barking at them, she is so
territorial at times!

Well off to stamp (I hope)!
