Curtain Call convention swap

Hello everyone, hope your week is going well! Today I would like to share with you the card I made for Stacey's Curtain Call Convention Swap! I was so excited when I saw Stacey was hosting a convention swap, I knew I had to participate.

I first made this card without the paper punch flower, but thought it looked bare and needed something else. Normally I wouldn't have made the flower for a large swap, but this swap was only 15 cards and I thought that was a managable number. Each flower consists of 6-5 petal punches, all 6 punches are spritzed and sponged and 5 punches are crumbled and folded (accordian style) then added to the 6th punch with snail adhesive and a large brad.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Inspired by Nature Curtain Call

Hello Friends and welcome to Wednesday!

Today's card is one I made for this week's Curtain Call Color Challenge 38. If you follow my blog on a regular basis you know I LOVE participating in Stacey's Color Challenge as often as time permits. Stacey has been kind enough to showcase some of my work on her blog as one of her top 5, well this past week I was surprised to find that I got the top billing! Yup thats right I got the lead roll over at the Curtain Call! Thanks Stacey for the top billing and for showcasing my card for the Curtain Call Color Challenge 37!

Now, on to this week's Curtain Call Card!! When I first saw these colors I knew I wanted to use one of my all-time favorite sets 'Inspired By Nature'. Regal Rose and Pumpkin Pie are perfect for this pretty cone flower!

Paper Punch Flowers

Hello Everyone, happy Friday! I am so glad the weekend is finally here, even though it was a short week, I'm always glad to see the weekend roll around (more time to stamp!).
Today card was a fun one to make! I knew I wanted to use the colors from this weeks Curtain Call Color Challenge 37, I also knew I wanted to add one of these fun Paper Punched Flowers!
I was blog surfing and cruising though the Stampin' Up! community website when I came across the cutest paper punched flowers! Fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Jessica Luther, had made the cutest project with six different paper punched flowers! I KNEW I had to give them a try the minute I saw them! There were no specific directions on how to make each of them, but she did list the punches that were used. I printed out a picture of them, then I had to come up with my own design on how to make them.
To make this flower I used the 'Fancy Flower' punch and punched out 5 flowers in Melon mambo. Punching, Spritzing, Sponging, Crumbling, folding then assembled! Look for more fun flowers in the days to come!

Thanks for stopping by!
