Pretty in Pink

One of my favorite techniques is Watercoloring. On this card I did a very fast & simple way to watercolor. I stamped the image in Rose Romance (love that color), than took my blender pen and dragged the color down into the image. This is a very soft effect. Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Summer by the Sea, Wonderful Words.
Paper: Rose Romance, Pretty in Pink & Very Vanilla.
Ink: Rose Romance.
Accessories: Blender Pen.

Happy!

Finally, It feels like Spring! The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the temperature is going to be in the 70's today! So I thought this was the perfect card to post today!

This is another fold that I like to use from time to time, I call it an accordian fold. All products used are from SU! Cardstock colors are Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink & Whisper White. The background paper is called Rebecca, and the ink color is chocolate chip. The Daisy was made with SU's small oval punch. I used the white gel pen to add the faux stitching to the center & the petals of the flower. To add the Ribbon I cut a small slit in the crease of the card and thread the ribbon thru and than tied into a bow.
Just looking at this card makes me HAPPY that spring has finally sprung in Minnesota! Hope you enjoy!

Square Card

This was another monthly swap that I did with my downline. I love to try different folds when making cards. With this one I cut the Chocolate Chip CS in half the long way and folded in three with the top flap smaller. The card size measures 4 -1/4 x 4 - 5/8 when closed. I also love to use background paper, this one is by SU! called Love Me. I also used twill tape, ribbon originals & Hodgepodge hardware to embellish.

What do you think of my new watermark? I love it! Thanks to Cindy Keery for making it for me. Check out her blog, she has some great ideas!

Wild About You!

I really wanted to post a card today but the lighting in my house wasn't very good due to the cloudy skies outside. So I took the girls (Lily & Cassie) out on the deck and snapped about 100 of my cards in natural lighting. I don't know, I think they turned out ok, what do you think?
This card was one of my monthly swaps that I do with a few of my downline. I haven't told them about my blog yet, yikes. Won't they be surpised! Hi Girls!
I love this set, I haven't had it long, but I have sooo many ideas for it! With this card I used all Stampin' Up! products. Wild About You is the name of the set. I stamped the Giraffe in Pumpkin Pie ink onto US white cs, than I took two different sized punches and punched out a few of the spots on the giraffe. Than I layered the giraffe onto Buckaroo Blue cs & pumpkin Pie cs. The background paper I used is called Playhouse.

I've Been Tagged!!

Wow, I have only had my own blog for less than a week and & I have already been tagged by Wanda! I guess this is the newest tag game, a way to get to know other bloggers, what a great idea! Here are 7 facts about me:

2. I am a HOCKEY MOM - I have three teenagers who all play Hockey (yes, including my daughter!)
3. I use to love to cross stitch (than along came stamping) and I don't find the time to do it anymore.
4. I have a new puppy LILY - who I just love, she is soooo precious and (spoiled) check out her picture below. And of course I can't forget about the Yorkie Cassie she's 12.
5. My birthday is June 15 (year unknown) ha ha
6.My favorite place to be when I am not stamping is watching my kids play sports - right now it's baseball, fastpitch softball and of course HOCKEY.
7. When we find time to get away we love to go to the cabin in Wisconsin, but the North Shore (Duluth) is also a favorite!

Well enough about me, it's time to tag 7 other bloggers. Who will they tag?
