Halloween makeover challenge

This week's Limited Supplies Challenge 135 was to use a Halloween stamp for a non-Halloween card. Sounds easy right? Well, It took me a little longer than I thought it would, but I had a fun time making this card. I couldn't resist using this cute little image from the retired set 'Halloween Hedgehog'. I thought the saying 'You're so thoughtful' was perfect for this image.

Of course I had to use one of my favorite designer papers 'Fall Flowers' for this non-Halloween card!

Supplies Used: Stamps~ Halloween Hedgehog, Absolutely Fabulous.

Paper~ Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Old Olive, Whisper White, SU! Fall Flowers DP.

Ink~ Basic Black, Various colors for watercoloring.

Accessories~ Blender Pen, Aqua Painter, Slot punch, Chocolate chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Old Olive brads.

With Sympathy

Today's Limited Supplies Challenge #132 over at SCS is to make a 'Sympathy Card'. Well fortunately, I haven't had to make one of these in a long time so I thought that I would participate in the challenge this week.


Since this challenge is called 'limited supplies' there are a few guidelines that we need to follow to participate:



The main image stamp: Flowers
Background stamp: Need to use one, or another image turned into a background.
Sentiment Stgamps: One
Cardstock & Ink: Any colors
NO Designer Paper (this hurts).
NO Cuttlebug or similar tools.
Embellishments: Limited (this means hold back on the brads for me)! LOL!


Supplies Used: Stamps~ Close as a Memory, Linen Bkgd.
Paper~ Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla.
Ink~ Always Artichoke.
Accessories~ Copper vintage brads, Always Artichoke & Elegant Eggplant Markers, Olive Organdy ribbon, Paper Piercer.

Limited Supplies Challenge

Friday's Challenge - Quick May Flowers calls for one flower stamp - stamped once (no 2-step stamping). Sentiment - One, Background Stamps - one small (I used one of the smaller stamps in the set for my background. Cardstock 1-3 colors plus white or vanilla. Accessories - ribbon, brads, flower punches. Limited Supplies Challenge - Masculine

This is my Masculine card for Friday's Limited Supplies Challenge 113 on SCS. I just love these little birds from the 'Shore Thing' set ! I hope that this set will make it in the new catalog in July!

Supplies used:

Stamps: Shore Thing & Cheese Cloth Background stamp.

Paper: Bashful Blue, Creamy Caramel, Barely Banana & Glossy White.

Inks: Bashful Blue, Creamy Caramel, Barely Banana & Chocolate Chip.

Accessories: Twill Tape, Antique Copper Brads & a Stamping Sponge.
